Ulster Youth Opera returns in Belfast and Enniskillen to present Aesop’s Fables at the Belfast Children’s Festival 2026. The programme is open to any young person on the island of Ireland between the ages 8 – 18, and if free to take part in. Ulster Youth Opera is kindly supported by the PRS Foundation, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.
“My daughter has loved both the singing and drama aspects of these sessions – she loves the magic of watching what it becomes. She came out empowered, joyful, confident and enthusiastic for the next challenge!”

“We have one child that doesn’t particularly show much emotion however on the day of the workshop the child was smiling and participating with enthusiasm. A first for me to see and so rewarding.”
