Even before the pandemic, access to live music was in crisis, despite the fact that music can have an enriching and transformative impact on people’s lives. As we emerge from lockdown we will rise to meet this challenge by producing extraordinary opera, with first class artists, for diverse audiences in areas with little or no opera provision at genuinely affordable prices. Our work in immersive technology will help us to reach disadvantaged audiences in ways never before possible.
