We have big creative ambitions and always challenge ourselves to make innovative new work. Our research and development programme enables us to test new concepts and continue moving forward.
Our interest in research and development led us to work with Future Screens NI to jointly interrogate what happens when the worlds of immersive technology and opera collide. By working with partners, our aim is to develop and share new ideas that can benefit the whole sector.
From Strabane to Shanghai! For more than a decade, the British Council has run a well-established Connections through Culture programme, which enables collaboration between creative and cultural professionals in China and the UK. Ulster Touring Opera are proud to be on the Connections through Culture programme 2021.
Connections through Culture has enabled over 370 creative and cultural professionals to see one another’s work, exchange skills and co-develop projects, and we’re looking forward to working with Mantis Vision China to start developing an international mixed reality project.
